The Oath
The lifetime workmanship warranty, in full
Every roof we build is covered for as long as it is on the house. Here is exactly what that means, exactly where it stops, and exactly how a claim runs — so you know what you are selling against before you sell it.
Lifetime workmanship warranty
Your warranty to your customer, backed by ours to you.
Every roof we build carries a lifetime workmanship warranty — so the warranty you hand your customer has ours standing behind it.
What it does for your business
A workmanship warranty is a sales tool before it is ever a repair. Most homeowners comparing three bids are comparing three promises, and the strongest promise usually wins the job.
Sell a stronger warranty
Offer the workmanship guarantee you actually want to put in your proposal. Ours sits underneath it, so you are not betting your reputation on whether a particular crew is still working in three years.
Nothing to track or renew
No term to diary, no anniversary to watch, no coverage that lapses the year before a homeowner finally notices a leak. It runs as long as the roof does.
Issued in your name
The warranty document names your company, not ours. Your customer never learns who the crew was, and never needs to.
What is covered
Everything below is workmanship — how we installed it, not what it was made of. If it fails because of our hands, it is ours.
Every fastener we drove
Nailing pattern, exposure, course alignment, and fastener depth across the whole field. If a shingle blows because of how it was nailed, that is ours.
Every penetration we sealed
Pipe boots, vents, skylights, and every hole we flashed around. Penetrations are where roofs actually leak, so they are where a workmanship warranty actually matters.
Every flashing we set
Step, sidewall, headwall, chimney, and valley. We always replace step flashing rather than reusing it, and the warranty is why.
Every deck we laid over
Underlayment, leak barrier, laps, and drip edge. If water gets past the dry-in because of how we installed it, we come back.
What is not
A guarantee with no stated limits reads as a guarantee with no substance. These are the edges, up front, so nobody discovers them during a callback.
- Manufacturer defects in the material itself — that is the manufacturer's warranty, and we help you file it
- Storm, hail, and impact damage — that is an insurance claim, and we document it for you
- Damage from work done by others after we leave the roof
- Failure of structure or decking we flagged in writing and were told not to replace
Material defects and storm damage are real claims — they are just somebody else’s. Because we photograph every job before, during, and after, you have the evidence to file either one, and we will help you put the package together.
How a claim actually runs
Three steps, and your customer only ever deals with you.
- 01
Your customer calls you
They call you, not us. As far as that homeowner is concerned we were never there, and the warranty they were given is yours. You stay the company on the roof.
- 02
You forward the job file
Send us the completion package we issued you — it has the address, the date, the crew, and photographs of everything we installed. We do not need you to reconstruct anything.
- 03
We come back and fix it
If the failure traces to how we installed it, we are back on that roof at our cost. No deductible to you, no labor invoice, no argument about how many years it has been.
Why we can afford to offer it
Because of everything on the rest of this site. Step flashing is always replaced rather than reused. Every penetration is sealed and photographed individually. Rotten decking comes out instead of getting covered over. A lifetime warranty is only affordable for a crew that was never cutting those corners in the first place — which is the whole point of $85 a square with project management included.
